In this video press release, Assembly Transportation, Public Works and Independent Authorities Committee Chairman John S. Wisniewski (D-Middlesex) and Assembly Majority Leader Joseph Cryan (D-Union) lambaste Gov. Chris Christie for pulling the plug on the single largest public works project in the country - building a second commuter rail tunnel under the Hudson River.
The $8.7 billion project - funded by the federal government, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and the State of New Jersey - would have created 6,000 jobs, more than doubled the current capacity of trains into NYC from NJ and generated approximately $45 billion in new economic activity over the life of the project.

Christie's agenda has been to claim that the Public Employee Retirement fund is to blame. I heard it on Charlie Rose on 10/29 and Fox News today. Shut him down please!

The NJ Dems had to post this in an effort to make to Gov look bad. Keep trying.
