  • @linusfzj80 arhh fair enough, im from australia, we had live axle 100s up until around 2004

  • @variofever Are you in the USA? My comment was based on what was available in the USA (we never got anything with glowplugs) - I figured this was a USA based commentary section since the subject vid has a NC plate on it.

The minute the 80 turned into the 100 series here in the USA (1998), that was the death of solid axles up front - not to say people aren't swapping 100 series to solids up front (Slee Blueberry) - but my comment was based on USA released Landcruisers.

  • @linusfzj80 the early fzj105 and hzj105 wre solid axle front and rear like the 80, i have a 2000 fzj and its solid front and rear, the factory turbos and later v8 model 100s were ifs

  • @asiandude469 No, if you are a into getting a good 4wd rig, you get an 80 series - solid axle front, full floater rear if you get a later model (1FZ-FE) - plus the optional FACTORY e-lockers in the diffs, and the locking transfer case diff.

If you knew your 4wd's you might have suggested a LX450, as it's a rebranded FZJ80, but a 100 or 200 series puts you in a IFS front suspension.

This guy has a fast, capable Landcruiser that beats the pants off any 100 or 200, unless you swap a SAS.

  • Nice car faggot does it come in men? These are built for off road use, not big rims and to be run down the 1/4 mile, you deserve to be put in the stocks

  • @asiandude469

80 Series is MUCH better than the 100 or 200 series (for off-roading)

  • if ur gnna get a land cruiser, mite as well just pay a lil more and get the lexus lx 470 or 570
