Sad that the boneless duck went extinct in the 90s. It sure was delicious.

6. A newer version of the 1984 jingle, I take it? Or does it go back farther than 1984? It reminded me of the 1984 commercial posted in Vol. 100...

uhh, "knifes?" shouldn't that be "knives?"
the cook book ad is quite lovely. good visuals & narration "the whimsical toss of a pasta primavera"
is it just me, or is the Secret ad just a little naughty?
love the Golden Grahams jinngle
why would a restaurant only be open 2 hrs. a day?

@CarlD2 That's true. Strangely enough, I happened to spot an online Then & Now pictorial the other day on the cast of Full House. The caption on Andrea Barber made it sound like she quit acting voluntarily after the show wrapped. Maybe she just wanted a "regular" life, but she seems pretty "normal" now.
I called the 1-800 number for time mag and it's now the customer service number for sports illustrated.

@circuit50641 Both are owned by Time Warner, so the number is still under the same ownership.

Wasn't Janis Joplin from Port Arthur? I'd love to hang out with Janis at a gun and knife show, as she also looks at the fine jewelry.
The Golden Grahams commercial is actually sweet...wasn't that little girl Kimmie Gibler on Full House?
That's Leigh McCloskey in the Secret commercial.

@CarlD2 The long shots look vaguely like her, the close-up at 1:46 doesn't. She also would have only been 10 years old in 1986...this girl looks older than that. I really don't think it's her.
