These O2 simulators are available at: http://www.ubertechnics.com/

Description of an OBDII O2 sensor simulator for off-road applications. This device replicates the signal from a rear O2 sensor so that the user may run without a rear sensor or catalytic converter. This is advantageous in racing applications where high flow turbo-back exhaust systems benefit performance by eliminating back pressure after the turbo.

The device has been designed for and tested on 2002-2003 Subaru WRX ECU's and can work in conjunction with Cobb Tuning Accessport system. Using the Accessport, users can turn on the CEL codes related heated catalyst and rear 02 sensor while using the O2 sensor simulator to provide signal to the ECU. This eliminates problems associated with "not ready" status encountered during OBDII emissions diagnostics. States such as New Hampshire will not inspect vehicles with emissions "not ready" codes. For further information and the appropriate Accessport stage 2 map, refer to www.suprocktech.com

  • @Nivicoman if you had a water fuel (wikipedia HIGH TEMPERATURE ELECTROLYSIS)

system like the (search youtube) ECONOKIT or ECOPRA or HYPNOW where they are all converting (with waste exhaust heat) the H20 into HHO the o2 sensor would usually be reading the extra oxygen and putting more petrol in. the Hydrogen would act as a fuel and perform A COMPLETE BURN. this may solve a few problems, including saving cash(fuel) and reducing emissions. Also increases the rev ving power.peace

  • Thank you for making a great product. I just recieve my 02 sensor simulator(for the secondary oxygen sensor), and I'm in the middle of studying how to instal the unit, thus my just now watching your you tube video. Thank you for making a great product. I'm looking forward to having it installed.

  • Simulating the front sensor doesn't work 100% because the unchanging signal makes the ECM get confused and might make it run too lean (hard on valves and pistons). It's better to keep running the old one because it will usually provide some level of signal until you replace it. If your car burns a lot of oil though it may be better to simulate it since the oil smoke and ash will foul a new sensor in short order. Then you'd have to live with poor fuel and oil economy.

  • ship to Canada?
