Jurbena Jazz Band from the Netherlands - "Messin' Around"

In early August of 2007, this great band from the Netherlands wowed traditional jazz fans at the Orange County Classic Jazz Festival in the Hilton Hotel-Costa Mesa, California. Their "South Frisco" style is unique, and makes for some delicious jazz to listen and dance to.

tdub = my mom's nick name for me when I was a kid -

T = Tom

W = Warner shortened to tdub

Yes, this festival was just fine for dancers. There were 3 or 4 venues that were set up with good spaces for dancers.

Just think that this old Johnny Dodds/Jimmy Blythe tune was recorded by them in 1926, but these guys make it sound as fresh as ever.You have made a nice collection of videos here Tom. Keep up the good work!!
