Fender SuperSonic Guitar Demo

I picked up a used Fender Super-Sonic a few weeks ago from a friend. It's a quirky guitar, and by no means do I claim what's done to it to be the "best" options for that guitar but hey I like it and it gives me a far different tone than my other guitars.

One thing to note is that the left/right orientation flips in the video. I used two different capture programs and one of them didn't mirror it properly. The guitar is right handed. Opps.

Everything is recorded directly into a Sansamp PSA-1 as I didn't want to disturb the neighbors with my loud tube amp.

Why do so many people want to do guitar demos then crank up the distortion so high that you have no idea what the guitar actually sounds like?

That's a damn good question. I don't have an immediate answer. One of them would be that I often play with distortion. I think I left a few clips in there of it clean. I could do another fully clean if you'd like.

It's an 'A' serial number.

i just watched yer video it sounds bad with that pick up an u need to get that chezzy tremolo off that fender an the in put is nigga rigged i thought the mustang guy messed his up.hahaha those guitars are surf/punk guitars not lame bon jovie/nickle back looking.im sorry i been a player and guitar tech and those are nice stock guitars.now its kinda messed up.replace every last part down to the orig black volume/tone knobs.sorry bro next time dont do nothing to yer guitar/least u like it Have fun.

thats a nice Guitar made squire got for 80$it was like my Jag&60s duo sonic mixed but there small compared to Jags.I sold it for 100$mine had two seymor designed pickups an was the same sparkle blue.i like my jaguar better and my squire jaguar two but there similar as musicians we mod our guitars and amps.the guys vid who modded his stang were you sent a video hes retarded.he ruined that one.if u hav facebook go on Mine ASAP.Its Bobby Costello in st.pete Florida read my Info and see pics.Go.C ya
