what age is this? It's a farily big hit but personally i would say i've done bigger hits in rugby. Though rugby hits do look better without padding. And it's always nice giving people concussion without realising it.

(and yes I'm English but unlike a lot of people i don't call American Football a pussy sport :P)

@Huggieg1 this was high school and i was 17 at the time. I currently play rugby in college and it is indeed way more physically demanding. Both sports are great but in america its not just a sport, its communities coming together, brotherhoods being created, and life skills being learned.

it's a good sack but the protection is simply terrible.. 3 man rush and you go in almost untouched.. but it's all good.. you have to make them pay for having a soft line..

@superjustus i hit people hard still and football is definitely not more violent. Football is stop start. You have no fights or anything.

Rugby what the referee can't see can't hurt him. There's eye gouging punching and general bad play that happens for the full game which you fail to see. American Football has much less chance of this. And rugby they hit hard. Usually you never get picked up and dumped on the ground in American football or although illegal dumped on your neck/head

@Huggieg1 you do know that football players hit harder BECAUSE of the padding, mentally when you have pads you feel more protected and arent as afraid to hit, footballs job is to hit, rugby you are all ball carriers and play zone coverage, football is way more violent (my opinion)

@raygada6969 you ever played rugby 7s? The Demands of normal rugby is nothing compared to 7s. Often called the most painful 14 minutes of your life.

And rugby has that community effect on a much smaller scale. But playing minor club rugby you form amazing friendships and learn about people who you wouldn't usually meet. The other benefit of rugby is the supporters. Unlike so many supports rugby supporters are mainly integrated. this means you can laugh at your opponents supporters.

Well i take it these guys were absolutly terrible. They use a two back set on a passing down? There oline jus stoood straight up, the kid you were going against engaged you, you dont do that on pass blocking, None of them kicksteped either. You got any impressive highlights (no offense) because its obvious that these guys suck.
