Here is my submission for Zelda Dungeon's video news position! This is just a little example of how my videos might be, should I get the part. I know it's a bit longer than it should be, and I wanted to re-film it and make it shorter and more to-the-point, but I didn't have the time to start over. Oh, well, there's always next time (hopefully)!

And even though this is just an example video, I'm completely serious about the follow up video. One thing I really want to do is get involved with community, and I'll do so not only through normal video updates like this, but also through follow up videos responding to your opinions and questions. I know how much people want their opinions to be heard, especially people as passionate as many Zelda fans are, and that's exactly what I want to accomplish with this. Even though this is only an example video, and even though I may not even get the position, I'd still like to at least make one follow up video to this, so by all means discuss away!

Also, any constructive criticism is always welcome. I'm still getting used to this kind of thing, so there are many areas in which I can improve! Next time I'll be sure to make it sound less scripted, and I'll try to loosen up a bit more and include some humor. I have lots of ideas for this position, and I'm eager to make them become a reality!

Oh, and excuse the clickity-clackity of my roomates playing WoW in the background. XD Because this video was very rushed, I didn't have a dedicated place to record set up, so I worked with what I had. I'll be more prepared for futures videos, though!

  • Personally I didn't find playing this game exhausting at all. I have absolutely no frame of reference where these people are coming from with the whole 'relax' business and tennis elbow concerns; it is absolutely absurd to me.

  • dude i love the shirt! wered you get it?

  • @Darchon101 Well they may have been easy but they are certainly more creative.

  • @BlaizeTheDragon I like it being a surprise, so I don't watch trailers, also I've been saying it HAVE been going downwards.. I never stated Skyward Sword would be.

  • @Darchon101 There have so far been 2 trailers released for the game and you can't say that Skyward has easy puzzles.

  • @BlaizeTheDragon Havn't seen much of Skyward Sword, just waiting for the release. But when I was speaking of it becoming easier, i meant the puzzles in the dungeons.

  • @Darchon101 Skyward sword is quite difficult in terms of combat. The AI has been programmed to try and deflect some of links attacks, let alone blocking in certain positions which forces you to swing in different angles. Another note, once you play the game you will realize why the game has a cell shaded cross look and I wish developers used it more often, because it shows they are putting more effort into a game when they use an interesting art style.

  • @BlaizeTheDragon I'm fully aware you meant the OoC Master Quest, but it being mirrored generaly is not hard, and double dmg is not that hard (as long as you're not doing any crazy challenges). Just my opinion though. The games ARE getting easier and easier (unless remake).

  • @Darchon101 I meant the new ocarina of time master quest. The monsters deal double damage, it's been mirrored and my challenge is to complet it with 3 hearts.
