  • Your gonna need a new transmission towing in overdrive and it shifting into passing gear all the time. I had the same truck, and I am very glad that I got rid of my tundra for a Duramax! That Tundra is shifting into passing gear on a flat stretch of road!!! Purring, ya right!

  • @08lmm1 I would strongly advise you to not comment in a negative way that quick. This is on the A1 from Lille to Paris, France. There are several parts with decent percentage of climbing in it, I'm towing a 2,500 kg. trailer here and just where you here the engine shift is one of the climbing parts..!! That's why I made the vid, to hear the dual TRD exhaust..!! :D

  • Were you in tow/haul mode or leave OD on? Cuz the revs were low but sounded like it downshifted a few times. I heard towing with OD on will wear out the tranny a lot faster because of the friction/heat that is produced by constant shifting but correct me if I'm wrong.

  • @xienxien2001 Hi xienxien, I have been advised and told that it doesn't make any difference at all since even when OD is of the engine will still shift back when needed... I tow a lot and after 55,000 miles ( 88.495 kilometers ) in two years the engine is still performing as a brand new one... No problems at all... And for further information, I drive it with a propane conversion and the engine oil comes out as gold as it went in, propane makes a positive contribution to a much cleaner engine..!

  • the truck runs just like we drove it off the lot, it has so much balls when u put it to the floor holy shit.. best truck ever, a toyota tundra will pull away a dodge 1500, chevy 1500, gmc 1500, and ford f150 likes theres no tomorrow

  • my dad has a 2009 toyota tundra with a 3 inch leveling kit running on 33. 10.5's wrangler duratracs, the truck has TRD dual exhaust and TRD air intake, we haul a triton bass boat all year long, we use the tow haul botton every time we have a huge load in the back of the truck and when we haul big boats and trailers, we have had the truck at 4000 rpm for like 1 minute hauling a full size kubota tractor on a all steel heavy duty trailer.

  • @08lmm1 -Hi i was chk one thing on the tundra, towing switch under the stearing wheel lo right if used it will not go in overdrive and help on downhills to less use off braeking....and up hill it will stay in gear....works 4 me great truck load after load and feul is great cant say that about some other brands respect 4 the free will off"roading".

  • @dikkie007. Hey, there is a guy on here, my brother, MrTundraToy. Can you try to encourage him to do a couple more videos?:) i feel he will if the time would be well spent with others wanting to see his truck.

  • What were you towing?

  • @2010THEDRAGON provided your still in warrenty

  • Its very simple if you don't have a Toyota product now you'll get one later and all it takes is owning one and you'll be hooked for life.

  • @tundralover , Yes but it all start off with an excellent product, bc if its all about taking care of your customer I think the big three can do that as easily.

  • wait, so you replaced the gasoline system with a propane one? how does that work? and was it expensive?
