Any mountaneous region like this is breeding grounds for trouble-makers. This region is not different. So, yes, this is under amry control. The native people have their own dialect, which, peculiarly, has similarity with local dialect of the Hawaian people. the place is about 1000 m from sea level. I would not use the word 'tribal' to describe the locals, but they are 'mongoloids'.

Such Lush Vegitation and the mist / fog make the area look magical and mysterious, must be the one of the best landscapes in Bangladesh, how high up is it? Is it tribal controlled? Do the people there speak Bengali or a different dialect? , ps. I am still waiting for your Panam Nagar Video - Best Wishes.
