Hello, Thank you for this video. I made the walnut roll 2 times and 1 bread. They turned out great! My Oma made this every Christmas, I thought I would always remember how to make it , sadly I didn't; so thank you for helping me keep the tradition going for my daughter. You are wonderful.

@curlytop713 I'm so happy to hear that my recipe is helping to keep your Oma's tradition alive in your family for future generations. That is all I wanted to do, as my great-grandma left us these recipes and my family never misses to make them every Christmas and Easter. You are very sweet, I hope that you also enjoy the other recipes. You may also visit my websites for more recipes. Take care, and please let me know if you would like to see other recipes. Helen :)

Hi :) Could you please tell me how much sugar you added to the walnut and poppyseed before cooking them? I'm so excited to be trying this this week! Koszonom! :)

@qteee73 Hi, I'm so glad to see that you are trying this recipe, I'm sure it will be one of your favourites. If you like it try my other recipe called "Walnut Croissant". 2 cups of ground walnuts, 4 tbsp of sugar, 1 vanilla sugar Poppy seed mixture: 2 cups of ground poppy seeds and 5 tbsp of sugar, 1 pack of vanilla sugar, and 1/2 cup raisins (soak in rum). You need to add the lemon as well. It's more traditional if you add some lemon zest as well. Enjoy the recipe, have fun...Helen
