I disagree. Their main belief is they should follow the JW org, everything else seems unimportant and subject to change. Everything else is simply a vehicle for them to keep their control.

The WTBTS and Governing Body are the real god of the JWs, Jehovah is a pointless figurehead.

They mock the bible as well, a JW will always examine WTBTS books when faced with a difficult question. These books are filled with tiny bible quotes twisted completely out of context to keep up biblical appearances.

I don't know whether to respond to this video here or on the first one of your's that I watched, but anyway, here goes. No offense taken. I understand what you're saying now. I just wanted to make sure that you weren't one of those jws who were either df'd or faded, all the while thinking they had the truth and you're doomed to die at Armageddon. Christ, it makes me sick to think that there are actually people out there like that. I used to be one of them. Running out of room, so will snd a pm.

Setting dates for Armegeddon, and always having the fear of it within a few short years is nothing like normal, mainline Christianity. Not mild at all.

I know. When you grow up in 'the truth' you don't realize that the Christians are teaching pretty similar things with similar behaviors. When you learn this, then it just confirms that the JWs aren't really superior in any way. I have to disagree that they are Christian. They don't worship Jesus and they don't participate in the lord's evening meal They have replaced Jesus and the bible with the WTBS.

When Christ returns I see him telling us that we were right in this respect, but we were wrong in this respect, but because of your faith in my father and in me, you stuck together. None of us are perfect. The governing body is not perfect. Ministerial overseers are far from perfect. I am the farthest from perfect person I know. But the bottom line is, we try the best we can to adhere to God's word. Obedience is far greater than a sacrafice in the eyes of Jehovah. Come back to Jehovah.
