April 23, 2009 was the national "Take Our Daughters and Sons To Work" day. Acumen Fund staff and partners had their children (ages 8-13) spend the day in the office where they learned all about Acumen Fund. They participated in a wide-range of activities including research on the countries we work in, arts & crafts, and even a scavenger hunt. The day culminated in a presentation to staff and parents of business ideas that they worked on in the afternoon designed to serve the poor. This video = cute overload! But, hopefully you'll also learn a thing or two from this next (next) generation of social entrepreneurs that you didn't know before. We certainly did. Enjoy!

Question regarding the power of videos:
How else is this film used within the organization? Besides uploading it to YouTube, are there specific audiences that you show this video to?
Thanks.

That's the best 'take your kid to work day' event I've ever seen. Would you post the activity or facilitator guide on the blog or knowledge center?
