@TheMindNomad Yeah you have good points too :) , its true that they might not feel pain but they feel or they respond to something in a different way. Haha scented screams xD is that real?
@themadrfucker there type of feel could be much different like when damaged they can send out a smell or something iunno lol im no scientist but yet people are still finding out about new things about plants every few years isn't that right. we can debate till our fingers cramp XD but you do host some good points friend :) mine aren't all that hard to understand also. it could effect other plants like there scented screams or w/e lol.
Plants lack the nervous system and brain necessary to process 'feelings' such as pain. A plant can respond to stimuli, for example by turning towards the light or closing over a fly, but that is not the same thing. It is also hard to see what purpose pain could serve for the plant, since they can hardly run away.
@themadrfucker who says im "whining" you don't know if plants can't feel, sure theres no sign of it in human science but what if they feel it in a different way on a different level, not say it hurts or it could be a different feeling you know. and whats so different about humans? why cause we can talk, sure the whole flora and fauna type deal.
@TheMindNomad You cannot compare humans to plants. Yes, to a certain extent they do share similar basic functions but our brains are more complex and it process pain in a much more complex way. People say that plants can 'feel', but that is a myth and it has been proved wrong over and over again. Plants are not on the same processing level as humans. I am against unnecessary animal cruelty myself but whining over a plant is just ridiculous.
@themadrfucker hahaha i have no idea lol could be you never know in this crazy mixed up world now a days
