The brilliant Frankel extended his career unbeaten run to nine with a stunning four-length win in the QEII for Jockey Tom Queally, trainer Sir Henry Cecil and owner Prince Khalid Abdullah.
Kind has foaled 3 horses, Bullet Train (Saddlers Wells), Frankel(Galileo) and Noble Mission(Galileo). The latter only had one start as a 2y/o but ran on well when not fancied. I'm sure he'll do big things next year like his brothers. Kind is looking like a fantastic Broadmare already.
@ABSDEFRD Mate i dont think the pacemaker was any factor to the result of this race. the pacemaker basically ran his own race and puffed himself out. lol
This was basically a gallop for the first 5-6f, then a sprint for the last 2-3f. Noway Excelebration and IV can outrun Frankel with that tactic plus giving him a 1 lenght head start!! Considering frankel close call at Royal Ascot i would have rather seen Excelebration and IV try and make it a pure 1 mile sprint rather then a tactical battle like Canford Cliffs also tried to do Vs Frankel. Frankel is a Exceptional race horse im so glad his staying in training for 2012.
It's unreal the natural God-given speed and ability that Frankel has. His turn of foot is always gonna be superior to the other horses in his races. I don't think distance will matter one iota to Frankel. My guess is that he could likely blow away an Arc field with his turn of foot at 1-1/2 as easily as he did this field or the 2000 Guineas field. Truth be told, you could probably roll him out onto Ascot tomorrow, and he'd probably even win the Gold Cup. He just has that kind of raw ability. JMO
I can`t help it frankel does not need a pacemaker, jesus henry! i thought you learned from the royal ascot mistake he wants to make the race don`t do it again he is not impressive under a pacemaker !!
@themightyeythain He'll be aimed at the Breeders Cup and races in France aswell as England next year from 8 furlongs to 10 furlongs. Black Caviar will race at 6 furlongs and be remembered as the greatest sprinter Australia as produced wereas Frankel could prove himself to be the greatest of all time if he stays healthy and winters well. When Sir Henry Cecil says there is more to come from the horse then you sit and listen...
@themightyeythain Shes obviously a good horse but who as she actually beat of any note in nearly 6 years of racing? Haylist? Scenic Blast? I know its down to who turns up on the day but shes never stepped foot out of Australia in them 6 years. The same could be said of Frankel but he is only 3 years old soon to be 4 and hes raced the best Japan, Ireland, France and England have had to offer and hes seen them off in ridiculous fashion....
@themightyeythain She may be the fastest but when as a 6 furlong 5 furlong sprinter ever been the rated the best in the world come end of the season? Shes one dimensional, Speed and Power over short distances. Frankel as proved himself to have speed power and stamina, The real deal hence why he was rated the best in the world last year. He'll be stepping up to 10 furlongs next year whereas Im sure Black Caviar will stick to the sprint races in Europe. Boring
@mcls2023 Doesn't matter, Timeform is constantly underrating Australian horses to the point where it is a joke. Australia has the best sprint races and produces the best sprinters, so why are they still being massively underrated? It's as absolute farce. Frankel is the best horse I've ever seen over a mile, setting the strong pace that breaks the hearts of his opposition, a bit like a more improved, male version of the great Sunline. But Black Caviar is just pure power and speed.
