These pictures were taken during an excursion to the Fort with friends from Thapar University, Patiala, Punjab. It was a good learning trip, where we got to know some great new things about our glorious medieval culture and technology!
The fort dates back to the mid-eighteenth century and was constructed by the Sikh rulers of Punjab.

You very well pointed it out! In fact, renovation work has been going on in the fort for the past few months and the fort is more than half closed. It will be fully open only after 2 months or so.
