Lea Michelle sang the song beautifully. The Les Mis producers didn't see it. Although Lea Salonga, is still and will always be the best Eponine to me, I like Lea Michelle's performance too. She's amazing!

Ooops, forgot to say, there is a jasmine on you tube that sings this song, go check it out, she may be better than barks or michele.

She's very good, but Barks was the right choice.. Lea Salonga was the ultimate, but 25 years later she could not be eponine in a movie. L. Michele has a great voice, but i think Barks captures just a bit more of the volnerable element of the character. But, L. Michele does a great job, and could have done the part well.

Could people stop comparing Lea Michele and Lea Salonga? They're both amazing, and bring different things to the role. Lea Michele is not trying to replace Lea Salonga or anything like that. Can't we accept that they're both amazingly talented and move on?
