This song came out at a very unusual turning point in my life. My mom and I were living in a 2-bedroom apartment in Glendora, CA, she already being divorced from my dad, and my brother housed in facility in Camarillo, CA, due to his autism. I knew I had to grow up fast, and this song was sort of the anthem of my life in the 70's. I now live in Riverside, CA with my wife and son, and I can say I'm blessed.
