This movie has literally saved my life on more than one occasion. It's the reason I consider it the greatest film ever made. No film, no matter how good or how powerful has had the effect on me that this movie has, and I doubt any other film will be able to match it.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS...MERRY CHRISTMAS MOVIE HOUSE...MERRY CHRISTMAS EMPORIUM...MERRY CHRISTMAS YOU WONDERFUL....MERRY CHRISTMAS MR POTTER" has got to be one of the greatest lines in cinematic history. And one of the best scenes to. I just find it so emotional when George is crying on that bridge and then screams out in faith. I myself am an atheist but this movie can bring out the faith in all of us.

1946: This movie is a big flop in the box office.
IF it is shown in theaters today, it would be one of the higher grossing films in the month of December. Thumbs up if you agree.
