for your information.a community outside of halifax,n.s.had above the acceptable amount of radon in their drinking water,a couple of years ago.many homeowners were told to stop drinking the water and were supplied bottled water by the government.this proved to be costly,so the government stopped suppying water and simply raised the acceptable limit of radon to just over double what it was originally.i'm sure they will do the same when radiation levels increase here,because of the japan incident.
