Wow, that is stupid, just go out and piss off a bunch of ARMED people. Guess it is safe to do, because they are law abiding people. How about next time the do the same with armed gang members who are illegally armed. See what happens then.

Ignoring all the LEO's, victims of previous crimes and domestic abuse, witnesses, and judges who are put at real risk of life and limb by this we also have to consider the fact that firearms are one of the primary things burglars look for when they break into a home. Now the criminals know exactly where those guns are. Releasing all this personal information in not only reckless, its criminal endangerment. I hope they got sued into the ground.

The root of the problem is. you should not need a permit to exercise a right in the first place. Then there would be no public record to publish, Law abiding citizen should never be cataloged.

The CNN talking heads act as if a person needs a reason to carry a concealed handgun, they have no idea about Virginia laws; here the state has to have a reason to keep you from carrying a gun.
