You have no idea how special this is to me..... My mother past away from cancer this last summer and this was her favorite song. I find myself listening to your cover FAR more often then the Simon & Garfunkel version. Thank you for the tear filled joy that I wish you could know.

Impeccable timing. Great vocals. True to the original except for the C-Am walkdown during "in the dangling conversation" which Simon did as a C-D/A walkdown. But that's nitpicking. Excellent. You've had training.

Of all the beautiful and well-written songs that Paul Simon put forth and sang with Art Garfunkel, this is my favorite. It's a medolic gem and the text standing alone is poetic beauty and a view into a relationship that no longer is. I think that it's important to note that Paul Simon was all of 25 years old when he wrote this song, although he wrote other song of comparable quality while even younger, e.g. Sound of Silence. Thank you for posting and thanks to S&G for having enriched my life.
