  • @Tubolicious82 your comment made me laugh, you my friend are obviously NOT a true Darkest Hour fan, and i say that becuase if you were a TRUE fan you would know that Kris Norris was NOT Darkest Hour, he was a PART of Darkest Hour, They are still gunna be Darkest Hour no matter what the fuck happens, The Eternal Return is my Absolute Favorite record, Its such a pissed off sounding record and its a shame you cant appriciate true music, you truely are a fucking retard

  • John looks better with shorter hair =)

  • @WereFallingTogether I hear what your saying, It seems over the years as Darkest Hour has progressed he has developed a little more of a douche attitude. Or well at least to me.

  • @WereFallingTogether Well I see what you mean about him not having the exitement or the charisma that most lead singers do. From all the footage I've seen of Darkest Hour, off-stage he seems like he's the one with the least personality. There's nothing wrong with being a little quiet or laid back but for the front-man of a metal band, it just makes him seem the odd on out. But atleast on-stage he gives a hell of a performace and he clearly knows what he's doing. Maybes we can let him off lol

  • @87kungfu321 You do have a good point. I would just much rather have him at least seem to care more in this interview. I'd be must more impressed if he'd really take pride and be excited about what he's doing. So I do apologize for calling him a doosh bag. But. In my own opinion, he gives off a horrible impression in this interview.

  • @gregman556 Correct me if I'm wrong but John Hengry writes all of the amazing, thought-provoking, beautiful yet tragic lyrics for the band. Just check out the lyrics on Undoing Ruin or The Eternal Return! The lyrics are genious (sorry about spelling). Not to mention his wonderful singing which ranges from deep and angry to desperate and broken. Its just intense and adds to the sheer power of the lyrics. So I think its fair to say that your wrong, John Hengry is not a "douchbag" as you put it.

  • No, you too are wrong. Metal is all about how metal your mother is. Your mother beat a boar to death with its own tusk? Thats metal.

  • If you read any of the lyrics off this album, none of them are about 'the return of the band'. He refuses to talk about HIS contributions about he album on a personal level, what the songs really are about, or what they mean to him. Don't get me wrong, I love Darkest Hour. I just don't see John taking any form of pride (both good and bad) in his music these days.

  • what makes u say that?

  • Metal is not about looks.

If Darkest Hour cared about their appearance, they'd end up like Metallica.
