Racist is the wrong word. It's ignorance, but not one driven by malice - merely lack of knowledge of Indian music beyond Ravi Shankar. Insulting someone who is clearly excited about a music based on something that you seem to know much about only results in losing the opportunity to share your love for those other styles and genres to a what had been an otherwise receptive audience.

Do you only say Ravi Shankar because of their ethnicity, or the musical flavor which is not influenced by the beautiful ravi in any way possible. the only similarity between Red Baraat and Ravi Shankar are their ethnic background. Racist pile of dickshit.
