  • on you cpu cooler did you use the psuh pins or retention bracket kit thing?

  • Push pins did the job for me although a retention bracket assembly might be more secure. For me I decided it wasn't that heavy and the mobo was strong enough :)

  • Im going to buy this case very soon.. and i was wondering if its anygood for cooling?

And also whats the case made out of? Plastic.. Metal.. etc Thanks Pls reply asap :):)

  • Case is ok (cheap!!!). but get black cover rather than silver, less tacky :). But the cover is plastic and the rest is steel. It has a removable mobo tray but its tough to use now

I've upgraded to a Thermaltake Soprano

You would notice the difference alright

  • nice rig but I would of gotten the E8400 and a HD4850.

  • Well, I liked the Q6600 and it had got a lot of great reviews, plus I got it at a bargain price on ebay (replaced a Pentium D!)

As for the graphics, got the 8800gts last April

  • i have 1 kinda like that its black same side pannel front looks better and i sprayed the inside black looks sweet now i have the unboxing on my channel btw

  • I got that case in black. =)

  • @duderlater Wow do they still make those...that system is LONG gone! :D The flap that's supplied sort of sucks. There are holes so you can remove the flap and slide the drive forward so it's flush (like every other case)

Personally though, were I to build it again, I would go for a slightly higher end case and I've done since. This is fine for a first build but the slightly dearer cases are so much nicer to work with

  • Hey, i hade two questions

1 Did you OC Your Q6600?

2 Did you need a CPU Converter For like 4-pin to 8? Becuase i have the same PSU And wanted To OC My CPU And i didnt know if the Adapters work, Thanks :D

  • its...its beautiful

  • Nice rig :D
