I think that a swivel socket does change the torque. If you make the angle as straight as possible it is close enough. Since they have a universal joint system instead of a CV joint set up at certain angles you will be applying more or less torque than the bolt is actually getting.

Holy cow that's funny Bob. The Cavalier comment had my wife asking me "what's so funny?" Glad you got it worked out. I am going to build a 7 also. However I am going to do it in Texas and forgo the whole cold hangar thing.
