Beautiful country influenced by many cultures (including the French one) but never forgotten its special Arabian taste. You can see the main touristic attractions - Tunis, Karthago, Sidi-Bou-Said (lovely little town nearby Karthago where popular movies "Angelique" was filmed), Sousse and many famous places in the desert Sahara.
Dalida was born in Egypt, her precedents were Italian. After moving to France she became a true star admired not only for exceptional beauty but first for powerful and touching performance of French chanson. She had never forgotten her beloved native Arabian country (herself spoke perfectly Arabic) and some of her songs are dedicated to her origin as Salma Ya Salama. Her unexpected death has been nor explained till nowadays.

  • Which album was this taken from? Is it one of the remix albums?

  • @cjacja21 yes this is the first remixed album issued in 1997 I think...I was in France incidentally that time so I could see the enthusiasm of all French fans from their beloved Dalida´s "comeback", some reactions were negative but I think it was very good idea this remix....Natali

  • @V6410590 it a phrase you say welcoming people who come from a travel or from somewhere far, the song simply talks about Egyptians suffering outside their homeland, the homesickness, they are satisfied with the life, if they are poor or rich doesn't matter, and how brilliant they are in war and peace.

  • for you my friend

  • lol idiots, its BECAUSE TUNISIA and EGYPT are similar nations !!!!!
