At long last, we've finally reunited with Maria! But something's not right... Anyone else getting a weird feeling about this woman? However, we have yet more to worry about. It seems Eddie hasn't been taking his journey through Silent Hill quite as well as James seems to have. After all, James has taken most things in stride, almost eerily so. Eddie on the other hand... Yeah, he's snapped.

You can actually get Eddie glitched behind a piece of hanging meat and beat him with the plank on the second part of the fight.

This has always bugged me. After going down an almost endless stairwell, jumping down a bunch of holes in the ground, going down a long elevator ride, and then finally going down another short staircase how the heck did James end up on ground level again without going up some stairs or an elevator?

With the whole this with Eddy, you can really start to see what Silent Hill is.

Silent Hill, is hell. It the place where the bad people (the ones who were called) have to face their punishments for the crimes against human nature they have committed.

At least that's my interpretation given the "James Sunderland" gravestone.

You don't know how much I was freaked out when I was younger when I first saw the scene where you tried to rescue Maria from the cell. I used to hear the music play in my head and couldn't sleep sometimes at night, lol.

@williamcharlie04: Ah, I had admittedly forgotten that about long-barrels given that I generally couldn't care less about guns. I don't imagine my sentiments will ever change unless I'm researching them for fiction, though I'll have to keep it in mind. Thanks for the information.

For the record, my original comment was more about the oddity of it being a revolver than it being long-barreled. Like I said, it just seems oddly old-timey/"Spaghetti Western" and contrary to Eddie's design otherwise.

@MusicoftheDamned hmm? You realize that a long barrel makes a gun stronger, right? Granted, Eddies IS old, but long barreled guns are still used for good reason. for the 1st fight I always use the great knive, since its 1 hit next stage, then ill just finish him with the rifle.

but any strategy that gets the job done is a good strategy ^^

honestly, as someone who has also been picked on and hated all his life, i cant help but feel bad for and understand eddie's pain. poor guy
