Head Football Coach Jeff Quinn invites the community to participate in the excitement and pageantry of UB Football. The season opener for the Bulls is September 2 with a 7 pm kickoff against Rhode Island in the inaugural game for new head coach Quinn. The game will be aired live locally, and throughout the state, on Time-Warner Cable Sportsnet (TWCS).
The Bulls will next host the University of Central Florida on Saturday, Sept. 18 with another 7 pm kickoff. The game will air on TWCS and is also expected to be picked up by Bright House Networks in the greater Central Florida region.
Buffalo is back at UB Stadium to host Mid-American Conference rival Temple on Saturday, October 23 during Homecoming weekend. The Bulls and Owls, who engaged in the unforgettable "Hail Mary" contest in 2008 with UB winning on the game's last play, will kickoff at 12 noon with the game to air as the MAC Game of the Week on ESPN Plus, ESPN3.com and ESPN Gameplan.
The following Saturday, Buffalo will host MAC rival Miami (OH) for a 3:30 pm kickoff at UB Stadium. The game will be televised statewide on TWCS.
Buffalo will make one of two national television appearances at home on Friday, November 12 when they host Ball State at UB Stadium for a 6 pm kickoff to be aired live on ESPNU. It will mark the first time in UB's modern Division I history that they will play a home game on a Friday night and it will mark the first meeting between the schools since the Bulls' shocking MAC Championship game upset in 2008 when the Cardinals were ranked 12th in the nation.
UB will close its home schedule on Saturday, November 20 with a 2 pm kickoff against Eastern Michigan. It will be Eastern's first visit to UB Stadium since 2005.
