You would be better off to place your peat pots in aluminum cooking sheets and fill them with water and let the pots soak up the water...You must tear off the bottoms of the pots before transplanting....and for heavens sake get rid of that store bought cage,go get some concrete reinforcing wire and make your own 5 foot cages,just measure 6 ft.lenghths and wire it together.

Janea, I live in Ocala we just recently had a few cold snap's.I wanna try planting so chinese food like bean sprout,napa,bok choy,or chinese cabbage is this a bad time to start planting .
