G Lucas Crane is caught in the middle of a project in his studio at Art on Air: The Clocktower Gallery and discusses grand and small themes of his work and life, including his house the Silent Barn (a long-running collectivist art and performance space in Queens) the philosophical issue running through Analog/Digital technological culture, and breaks down in detail his overly complicated, very personal, Sample-Tape Mixing style. Plus, he seems to be six coffees deep, or is just really really keyed up about something, perhaps he's excited about the project he's working on (which wound up here http://www.artonair.org/archives/j/content/view/3278/), or maybe he just ate a whole bag of gummie worms. all and all, a fascinating, intimate, and ridiculous look at an artist "of a certain type" "in a certain place"
