falconpierce - That;s great stuff about using cr lk, cr lk vs big chars. As for the trijump lk, lk, it may be fun, though I avoid using two aerial hits on a standing opponent. As you probably know, when you do two aerial hits on a standing opponent, the first aerial hp or hk after a launcher will initiate flying screen. So if you want to do a traditional Rom setup then it won't work. If you go for a sj lp ad down d+lk, lp Rom setup, then it will work. I prefer tj lk (land) cr lk.
@BrettH123 yes i also like using cr.lk mk. on sent and big chars bcuz of the quick startup frames, it also hits almost everyone as you mentioned... i also like doing tri lk.mk dash cr.lk. mp it feels so nice landing that and snapping out commando.
@falconpierce thanks for the tip. The only trouble I have now is the fact that I'm not a Mags player, lol. I probably should have mentioned that beforehand. I do play lots of Sent, though, and lower tier chars, so it's something I will need to work on with all characters.
falconpierce - cr lk, cr lp is great against short characters and also when the cr lk is a juggle (After Psylocke AAA hits). Against Sentinel though, I prefer to use cr lk, cr lk xx snapback. It is easier to just use the same button twice, and cr mk has faster startup than cr mp thereby giving the Sentinel player less time to jump and/or block after the first hit (super armor). Believe it or not, cr lk, cr lk snapack easily combos on most of the characters in the game.
@Orihalcon2086 cr lk. mp is one of the best ways to catch an opponent and snap after storm assist hits then just launch to death no need to get fancy if your a novice
Commando got triangled very nicely. Takes some quick wits to pull that off! Well done! I need to work on my snap-outs a bit, since I rarely use them. I often look to YouTube vids for tips, and yours look helpful.
falconpierce - Good stuff. Cr lk, s mp is a great and simple Rom setup. The issue is that the s mp will miss on short characters.
