If i recall correctly, Ryoma Nagare was suppose to be a very BIG man. not some little kid with a tiny getter in his pants who goes around other people's videos shouting "my show is superior because it mirrors real life."

let us not forget that I'm the actual gundam fan here and still thinks Evangelion is a better series. Please shove your getter back into your pants and actually watch the original evangelion. The pacing in the anime is much superior to any of the none movie gundams.

dude. omg how many times do i have to say this. Evangelion explores the interaction between humans and anti-social kid and invokes many very legitimate questions regarding his identity. Gundam happens to like to mirror reality a little. Gundam however also happen to randomly throw plot devices at random times, starting with the first series.

if we were to talk about which anime is better based on plot alone, EVA wins hands down.

you do realize, that more of their shows die out than succeed right?

granted that they did continue the transformers series and gundam is quite popular. but it doesn't change the fact that their animation quality plainly suck ballz. Hence they are a shit tier company. If gainax, or bones, or shaft, or some other company on a equal name level, were to animate the next gundam series, it will have at least three times the story and three times the graphics quality, and none of that CG bullcrap feel
