Read the book!!!!
I promise you, the movie is just a small piece of the giant cake. It's much more detailed, gives you even clearer lessons to everyday living, and (of course) its the very words from Dan Millman himself. I read and re-read it almost every day, it's so good that its indescribable.

you make an excellent point. it's a good way of looking at it. i hope others read the book(s) too.
incidentally, i did end up seeing the movie shortly after I made that comment a year ago, and I was extremely unimpressed. the movie is a really vague and bastardized version of what the books are about.... but I still think you make a good point. i hope others are as open-minded and inspired as you are.
