Hey,not trying to sound smart or anything,but I'd think about going to a new mechanic. Dirt bike racers still use 2 strokes all day long. They rebuild them every 70 hours. Are you mixing the gas right? Is the carb jetted right? Is it built right the first time? Like I said,they drive the Banshee street legal in Germany every day. If it ran lean,they wouldn't have them on the Autobahn where they run 100+mph would they?

@j1a1son it will usually cause it to lean out and thats when stuff starts melting and breaking i've done it twice in one year had to learn the hard way $

How does riding a Banshee on the road melt the pistons? Aren't they street legal in Germany?

@vestrevekk your not suppose to ride them on the rode long though, it melts the pistons together..
