Once the fire has reach this extent, what really is the point in putting it out? Let it burn itself out because the water used to put it out simply finishes the building off. The drywall is destroyed, the ceiling.....its a total loss. The firemen need to think up another way to handle this and it should be to let it burn out under controlled settings.

yeah, i was with a few news crews and was monitoring the fire frequencies when they dispatched the 5th alarm.

How many firefighters and units are responding to the fire. I think there were nearly 60 apparatus (Fire trucks, engines, ambulances, batallion chiefs, etc.) on scene and near 100 firefighters.
