Catholic Church shamed by Irish abuse report

of decades of rapes, humiliation and beatings at Catholic-run schools in Ireland.

Secret Vatican records uncovered church knowledge of pedophiles in their ranks all the way back to the 1930s.

Church officials shielded pedophiles from arrest while children lived in fear from the daily terror of being beaten.
