  • I bought a rancho quick lift strut system but pulled out the strut spacers I had installed because of the upper c arm contact. I installed new rough country upper control arms, debating if i'm going to re install the 2.5 spacers cuz I hated the hitting noise. Hope it doesnt hit anymore with the new arms. Great vid!

  • @hyboost Correct, without an upper arm you are going to get contact with a 2.5" level kit. I had contact even with my 2" level kit in this video. The aftermarket upper arm would correct that, but general consensus is to avoid the RC upper C-arms. There have been issues with those breaking. I use the PRG uppers currently, but they are more than twice the price of the RC uppers. Hopefully yours will hold up. Thanks!

  • this makes me miss my pro4x.. nice truck

  • @badboyzproductions09 The Banks will make that thing a beast! You will love the PRG product, just be patient with them, sometimes they can be a little slow. Take care and have fun!!

  • @zkeys Thanks! She looks great!! You have helped me make up my mind totally getting the PRG mini lift!!! Sorry to hear about the exhaust, Love the sound but I think that I'm getting a Banks. Anyway thanks again! Have a great day!

  • @scewroot Not to bash Stillen, but I have heard some bad things about them from the forums. I personally do not have any experience with them. Doug Thorley long tube headers are pretty popular. You can buy cheap B-pipes from rockauto.com. They are called Walker B-pipes. I currently run them on mine, but I do not have to pass emissions testing in my county. I have a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust on mine now, and I love it.

  • @zkeys mine just took a crap all my cats busted and dissenegrated*sp im in the process of ordering stillen headers b pipes and stillen stainless steel 3 inch exhaust, any recommendations anyone?

  • @scewroot Hey man, sorry it took so long. I replied to another comment on here, and it has all the info you need for what lift I was running at that time. I would recommend looking into PRG products. They offer an "extended travel" package. Basically high end coil-over shocks with a new upper control arm. Gives about 3-4" of lift on a 4X4. That is what I am using now and it is great. Running about 3" of lift in the front with the 1.5" block in the rear. I love it!

  • @badboyzproductions09 At that time the lift is a 2" leveling kit in front, and a 1.5' block in the rear. Both from PRG Products. It is a Nismo. Great sound, but the stupid mufflers rusted out roughly a year after purchasing. Not too happy considering the price of the exhaust. Thanks!!

  • Hey, I'm curious as to what lift and exhaust your running? I'm guessing its a nismo exhaust? Any headers? What kind of lift? Rancho 4inch or leveling kit? Great looking T man!
