Installed last night to replace my 'de la crap' single element 40 gallon unit. Very impressive and sexy water heater. Blows out quite a bit of cold air, should help with the A/C load during the summer, though adds some load to the heater in the winter.

Quick 1 day review: First, this thing is a heavy weight champion at 225lbs. It is way heavier than any human sized residential water heater. The installation was simple, it only requires one additional step than a regular water heater, the condensate drain, which I haven't installed yet (see plastic container at floor). The noise is very acceptable. The heat pump barely makes noise at all, but the fans can get mediocre loud. However, they are speed controlled by the unit and only run full blast when they have to. I am not sure of the recovery time on hybrid (default) mode, which uses the heat pump and the elements (when the hot water load is high). Have only taken one shower with it so far. At 700 watts, the heat pump mode uses ALOT less energy than 4500 watt heating elements, and blows cold air which helps the A/C load in the summer. I think I will run it in electric mode during the winter, though for now I will leave it on hybrid mode. The outside of the unit is very cool, so no additional fiberglass insulation should be needed.

Got it from Lowe's in Aiken, SC. It comes with a 1yr part/labor and 10yr part warranty. Lowe's sells an 11yr part/labor warranty, which starts after your first year, for $80, totally worth it for this newish technology and brand new product line. For $80, you are covered for 12 years.
