This video is a look at my new Behringer xenyx 802 mixer and my live sound setup. This mixer is also going to allow me to live stream again so a show will be coming soon.

  • you dont need a amp for the computer? can i just connect it directly speaker to mixer to computer without amp it wont burn it? thanks.

  • @jjlplopez1717 You always need an amp when connecting to speakers. You will not find any speaker that doesn't have an amplifier. Computer speakers they have a built in amplifier. Ipod docks they have a built in amplifier. Not sure what you mean by it won't burn it. You need to connect your amplifier to your audio output wether that be direct from you audio source (computer) or to a mixer with multiple audio sources.

  • One question, I am completly lost with this kind of stuff. Let say I want to live stream games, can I use this to adjust the volume of the game for the live stream? or, can use that equipment for that kind of purpose?

  • @TheDarker00 You could use this to control the multiple audio sources for your live stream. So you could have one channel plugged into your games console/computer for the games audio. Another channel for your microphone and then more channels for i dunno people on skype or music. So you can use the mixer to control all the volumes of your different audio sources and then connect the output from the mixer into your computers mic input for the stream.

  • how do you connect mixer and computer? do you need audio interface? or straight mixer to computer?

  • @normalsigara You would need an audio interface. All most all computer have a mic input so you could use that but a lot of them are quite low quality. I recommend buying a USB external one if you want to do recording.
