In this beautiful talk Thay talks about how to apply mindfulness in times of distress such as anger or suffering. He also explains how everyday interraction between parent and child effect the child and how that can cause a cycle of suffering.

If this is your first time listening to master Thay I would refer you to my other playlist where he talks extensivly on all subjects and how to practice. Personally I have started doing the practice and in 2 days I have seen the effects. I have looked for balance in myself and solidity but was unable to find it anywhere but here.

This is an excerpt taken from the audiobook "Thich Nhat Hanh - The Art of Mindful Living CD1". Audiobooks can be bought at www.soundstrue.com I am in no way affiliated with this company.

  • Thich Nhat Hanh's teachings is not something that will sink in someone's mind at once. Please listen to them over and over again, and somehow at the nth time, you'll find a detail you have overlooked that will now increase your understanding...And Understanding is inversely proportional to Sufferings...
