ImaginaryColours.com is frustrated to present this video on a mysterious printer jamming problem. We don't know what caused the problem exactly, but we do know it started the instant we put in a new Maintenance Kit.
What happens is the paper jams almost every time, when before it jammed like once a month.
Just for fun, we put the old Maintenance Kit back in, and the printer seems to print just fine.
Far as we know the maintenance kit doesn't touch the paper so we have no idea what the issue may be. Furthermore, when visually comparing the two kits, they are virtually identical. Tom, our resident Perfectionist, could see only two differences:
1. part of the metal on the wiper blade is not as straight as it is on the old kit
2. there is a nub on the roller's axle on the new kit which isn't on the old one.
Other than that, if you made a Jell-O mold of these two kits, they'd be identical.
So, other than being odd coincidence that the printer decides to work/not work when we happen to switch the kits back and forth, it would appear that the new kit has something to do with this. Hmm.
We don't get it, either.
clean the rubber rollers that picks the paper out of the paper tray..it should do the trick..water and soap:D

Are you trying to use a third-party maintenance kit? Xerox does not manufacture mk's with orange rollers. If so, that could be the source of the problem. We have seen cases where an out-of-spec roller (inside the kit) could result in stalling of the process motor or drum. This would impact the timing of the paper and cause the machine to report a jam. However, to really determine what is happening you should contact the Support Center and let them know what jam codes the machine is reporting.

Ouch, um, thanks for sharing??? We're passing along the video to see whether there's an explanation.
