Just got linked to this by a friend, and not intending to cause offense, but you need to be more confident in your delivery. It would likely help if you had notes infront of you, or if you already do, then a full scripting. You have a wonderful voice, and it's such a shame to hear it drifting about sentences as if they don't actually exist.

@AlpineViking91 Hey to answer your question, 0.00db is the limit of the wave forms the computer can read. 0.00db all the way at the bottom of the sound wave and 0.00db all the way at the top. A negative number is always going down like on the "y-axis." The positive numbers are always going up like the "y-axis."

I suggest that if you are watching this you skip the first 2 minutes (as it's just an off topic intro) but the rest of the video was very helpful

Hi Warbeats.
I just watched your video on mastering- decibels and although it was helpful and I learned a lot, I'm still confused.
So I understand in your wave sample explanation using edison that 0.00 is the cut off point but why does the top say 0.00dB 1.00 and the bottom say 0.00dB -1.00?
Like if the centre is -INF dB, what is the difference between the top half and the bottom half?
FYI, I do this as a hobby not by profession. I just pass on what I have learned to others. I don't make claims beyond that. I give you the best info I can at the time I record the tutorial
