Obama is such an idiot. Raising minimum wage would just increase unemployment and it would lead to higher prices. If McDonald's workers get receive higher pay, then the price of a big mac would be raised to $6 and a combo meal would cost $12. If minimum wage is increased, no one will want to spend any money because prices would go up and companies would have to layoff employees. Obama and liberals have such idiotic thinking that it is not even funny.

OK just did a little research on your comment. As I thought, all of the states joining the lawsuit (except Mississippi) are red. The Lawsuit was invoked by Holder (Obama's partner & Dem) and probed by Carl Levin (Dem). I also ran across the statement "the appearance of retribution." So to answer your question "But are we really saying that the Attorney Generals for 16 States have a vendetta against S&P?" "Yes we are" . This was too obvious, I knew I smelt a rat.... Retribution (in a word).

Just out of curiosity, ( I haven't google it yet) what color are those 16 states ?

red or blue (maybe something there, maybe not). And why hasn't any other rating agencies been brought to justice. Also look at Apple suing Samsung. The major companies are trying to earn income from lawsuits, because growth is not there. Big companies are particapating in "stock buy back" programs because growth is not there. This is the only way big companies can (currently) maintain their stock price.

Well, I understand that the investigation on S&P witholding market data that directly contributed to the collapse, started back in 2009 (before the S&P dowgraded the U.S. credit rating). Even so. When 16 other States joined the lawsuit on S&P we can't deny S&P was up to something. But are we really saying that the Attorney Generals for 16 States have a vendetta against S&P?

I am sure all the rating companies face lawsuits, but my question would be, "is the Govt. suing sixteen other rating agencies" or just the S&P. It is almost a frivolous lawsuit, S&P rates credit. They are not making guarantees, or insuring a transaction. No the Govt. is bullying S&P. I dont watch Glen Beck, Limbaugh. But almost everyone on CNBC is a Govt. shill or cheerleader. As I get older the B.S. loses its transparency, and becomes almost too obvious.

From Reuters, Feb 5,2013: "...Sixteen states and the District of Columbia are also suing S&P, a unit of the McGraw-Hill Companies Inc..." Seems like it's not just the Gov. suing S&P... Are all 16 of those states conspiring against S&P? Or is it that S&P really contributed to the Economy's collapse and need to be brough to justice? Can you cite reliable sources for me to look at, since Gov. numbers, and L.A. times don't count? Just please, don't tell me it's Glen Beck or any of those wackos.
