The concept is good improve lighting, camera angles, consider adding a more complex plot to show you have story telling capabilities that is what impresses colleges the most, they understand not everyone has enough money or experience for good effects but if you can tell a good story visually and plot wise they really appreciate that.

Nice concept, liked it.

(The code samples were really bad. This felt like CSI's "Visual Basic" reference or Numb3rs's IRC description, copypaste random text. Can't expect directors to research everything they do though.)
