  • May I suggest that Jack closes the door behind so as to avoid giving up a silowetting himself?

  • Top, there are a few things that could be changed to better reflect modern training doctrines(notice there is no weaponlight on the gun), but as a primer to avoiding the Fatal Funnel" it does well.

  • G&90srock,

This video was produced well over a decade ago. Not only that, but KISS is a concept that has application in combat.

  • We could arm chair general any training video to death. My point was simply that you have to think of the target you present the other guy. When the wall behind you is lit and you are silowetted your a dead man walking.

  • if you watch the video... its explains it... dummy

  • "Do not kick door" look at all the footprints on the door LOL :D

  • guys, please realize that the point of the video was to explain what the "fatal funnel" is, and some ways to avoid that one specific threat. If he closed the door, you would not be able to see the shooter. This is a technique-specific demonstration video for an internet audience, not an all inclusive training exercise for the participants.

  • hey idiots trying, on this review, trying to give advice to someone associated with NSW....yeah there is a budweiser on his hat. you don't know shit.

  • Hahaha, at the end they're like 'yeah, or you could just keep pointing the gun forward while you peek around the corner from the other side.' That's what I would do instinctively! Good videos though.

  • the 2nd technique seems better pieing the corner with the barrel up.

  • Is it just me, or does the guy talking look like Denis Rader?

  • i like dang ol' shotguns

  • in the line of sight of an intruder....

  • Good try, but when he opened the door, he didn't clear behind the door *once open still a gap between door and wall* enough to fit one medium size person.

  • what kind of sling is that?
