My dad used to play with kenny marco in Brantford, i remember from my early years. haven't seen him since 1999 in a band my dad put together for a bi-centenniel
Neil Sedaka must have been extremely impressed! I remember Dr Music and most of the singers either had or would have success as solo artists or in bands. They sang back-up to everyone from Ann Murray to Lighthouse and Blood-Sweat-and-Tears. Amazing talent under the tutelage of Doug Riley!
@kuwabad VERSION I - 1972: Doug Riley (keyboards) Laurel Ward (vocals) Rhonda Silver (vocals) Brenda Gordon (vocals) Terry Black (vocals) Diane Brooks (vocals) Trudy Desmond (vocals) Michael Kennedy (vocals, percussion) Steve Kennedy (vocals, tenor & alto sax, flute) Brian Russell (guitar) Terry Clarke (drums)
i love this version better too.
