you are totally right! john lloyd did not appear at this show with tom verlaine. he was ill. the show was thus a tom verlaine show which is ok but lloyd's riffs were missed. i was there up front.

i realize how truly smoothe he is on the guitar. its so funny when people who like BB KING and all that traditional stuff bad talk tom, because it doesn't sound like anything else and so they get scared.
