the orginal progressive house anthem, nearly 20 years old and still sounding better than 99% of current house. Sheer class.
-
This track was way ahead of its time, classic.

@j1mf1eld Purely down to the depth of the production. That's why Weatherall, Leftfield etc always still sounds fresh........and obviously because it was years ahead of it's time content style..

Such a big track, born 15 years too late me. Saw Andy Weatherall the other day, just one of a few made this scene what it was, still sounds fresh!

Fuck me - stop squabbling about dates and stuff - this is a TUNE from a long long time ago that we all love - the details don't matter - Freedom to party:))))

@thegoon1964 ....so we are agreed that the TRACK ABOVE (look up ^), is by LEFTFIELD, a group formed in 1990, released on promo in 1990, then officially in 1991?- So officially, I'd say that makes me right? Btw, the track was written by (and copywritten to) Neil Barnes, of Leftfield. So if he sampled it from the track on your legendary 'tape', he's in trouble! - If you STILL don't believe me, go to Discogs, do some research, & get your facts right. Now please go away and leave us in peace. :o)

@thegoon1964.... "in fact it's a white label" Ok, how do you know that if it's on a tape?
"released proper in 1989".... by who on what label? ..... Are you making all of this up? *laffs*

@thegoon1964 - Just checked the original vinyl = 1991. Then checked the Outer Rythm back catalogue = 1990 (on promo). As for '1988'.....erm, the band (N. Barnes & P. Daley) didn't even form until 1990. Nice try....... oh, and you can keep your 'mix tape', thx. :o)
