  • I find it funny that people say someone is half one nationanlity and half other thing. in my country your nationality is the country you were born. Your parents nationality and ethnicity is your cultural background

  • @tdottchickk I'm Romani and we are originally from India--of the Rajput Caste, to be exact. Most Roma are settled; some are nomadic. Often, it depends on what kind of Roma they are. Some tribes have been settled for hundreds of years, for example. By and large, we're a diaspora people--same as the Jews. We live therefore in many places today. Ayo's Romanian Roma, like me. In Romania, the Roma were slaves for hundreds of years--AKA, "settled."
